Your selfie is processed in memory and immediately discarded.
When you upload a selfie to find your event photos, our AI neural model extracts temporary facial node vectors strictly to compute mathematical similarity scores against indexed event photos. We do NOT build permanent facial recognition databases, track users across the web, or store raw selfie uploads on our servers.
1Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to deliver fast event photo search and payment processing:
- Selfie Search Inputs: Selfies uploaded by attendees are kept in volatile memory for the duration of the search request (typically < 0.5 seconds) and permanently erased immediately thereafter.
- Photographer Account Details: Name, phone number, Mobile Money payout account details (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo), and email address.
- Transaction Logs: Mobile Money transaction references, purchase timestamps, and download authorization tokens.
2How We Use AI & Facial Vectors
Our proprietary facial indexing system detects anonymized mathematical node points on event gallery photos uploaded by event photographers. These mathematical vectors cannot be reverse-engineered into facial images. They exist solely to calculate photo match scores when an attendee submits a selfie.
3Payment & Mobile Money Security
All payment transactions are processed securely via Paystack and certified Mobile Money aggregators. occasionSnap does not store credit card CVVs or bank PINs on our servers. Photographer payouts are dispatched directly to verified Mobile Money wallets daily.
4Data Protection Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
You have the right to request deletion of any photo gallery or account record associated with your identity. Photographers may delete event galleries at any time via the dashboard, which permanently purges all raw photos from Cloud Storage.
